Illness doesn't always have a physical cause and the sad truth is that more dogs and cats are put to sleep because of behavioral problems than are put to sleep because of disease and injury. Good behavior can help make your pet safer and more enjoyable, but it takes an effort on your part -- and we can help. Our doctors can help determine the cause of disorders such as separation anxiety and obsessive behavior, and then develop a treatment regimen. We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling, and aggression.
At the Broad Ripple Animal Clinic, we encourage pet owners to stop by at anytime with their pet for a happy visit. A happy visit is a quick stop by the clinic with your pet to check their weight, walk through the clinic, or get treats from any of our staff members. This is especially great for pets that may exhibit nervous tendencies during their exam appointments. Our hope is that by doing happy visits to the clinic, your pet will feel more comfortable when they come in for their exams.
