Amanda Shaffer, our Certified Canine Massage Therapist veterinary assistant, and Reiki Master graduated from Purdue University in August 2002 with a B.S. in Animal Agribusiness and has been a part of the BRAC family since 2004. While finishing her degree Amanda was a teachers assistant in animal physiology and worked in a nutrition laboratory.

Amanda received her training in Integrated Touch Therapy and certification as a Canine Massage Therapist at Synergy Farms in Circleville, Ohio. Amanda is also a Reiki Master and provides Reiki services for both humans and animals. She also has an interest in Bach flower remedies.

When she's not working with and helping animals, Amanda enjoys hiking with her three dogs - Sable (Australian Shepherd), Mickey (Husky mix adopted from the Humane Society), and Chili (Pitbull mix adopted as a stray).
